Crystal Methamphetamine is probably the best known drug found in our community; but, it is not the only drug our kids know about. Don't forget alcohol or marijuana or ecstasy or GHB. Many local teens are familiar with all of these drugs. Their effects can be devastating.

DeKalb County is experiencing the lasting effects of these drugs. We have increases in teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. More women seeking drug rehab than ever before. We also see increases in domestic violence and an increase in the need for foster care.

Many say we have lost a generation because we did not prepare them. We must teach our children the strength to make the right choices. Partner with us for the future of DeKalb County.
